The Montgomery County Executive Board has voted to pass a bill which will create a civilian board for police accountability (PAB) and an administrative charging committee (ACC). This follows the Maryland State assembly passing bill 670 which required the establishment of a PAB and ACC for each county. The two organizations will be responsible for handling complaints of misconduct by police officers.
