[Infoflow intro] + [pledge of allegiance]
MICHAEL: Welcome back to Infoflow, Blazers. Today is Monday, March 7th, I’m Michael
EMAN: And I’m Emmanuel. Today’s women’s history month fact is Arabelle A. Manfield became the first female lawyer in the United states. After she graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College she “read the law” as an apprentice to her brother’s law practice. Iowa state law restricted women from taking the bar exam but she took it anyway and scored highly. Shortly after she was admitted to the bar in 1869, Iowa changed its licensing statute, becoming the first state to accept women and minorities into its bar.
MICHAEL: A large explosion erupted in an apartment building last Thursday. 10 people were sent to the hospital with others still missing. At the time of recording, the cause of the explosion is still unknown but about 100 residents were displaced from their homes. Visit the link below [https://mhpartners.org] to help the families affected.
EMAN: The Montgomery county health officer is a position that has been vacant since September due to the health officer resigning and two candidates turning down the permanent job due to political pressure and threats. Dr. Earl Stoddard, director of Montgomery County’s emergency management and homeland security office, states that health officers should be able to prioritize their decision making over the political pressure.

The adult will be there to support you and give you advice. You could apply for colleges with them, grab a meal, play games, or just hang out! You would also get the chance to come to sponsored events, which can be great for SSL hours – this includes Park Clean Up Days, Zoo Days, Ice Skating, and Cooking Workshops!
