InfoFlow Episode 7.054 – 11/30/21

[Infoflow intro] + [pledge of allegiance]
MARISA: Welcome back from Thanksgiving break, Blazers! Today is Tuesday, November 30th. I’m Marisa
MIREYA: And I’m Mireya. A new variant of COVID, the Omicron variant, was discovered last Wednesday in South Africa. The variant has already led several nations, including the United States, to ban travel from South Africa and surrounding countries. While scientists are still working to discover if the new variant is more dangerous than others like the delta variant, it is believed to contain mutations that lead to increased transmissibility and ability to avoid immune system defenses.
MARISA: Now, let’s go to the latest edition of environminute!
