CATHERINE: Welcome to InfoFlow, my name is CATHERINE.
SODA: And I’m SODA. In the news, the results of the election are in your sophomore president is Mihret Asfaw is Sophomore president, Faina Pensy is sophomore Vice President, Camille Wilson is junior president, Veronica Locker is Junior Vice President, Kayla malone is senior president, and Karen Nguy is Senior vice president. Nunyat Teferra is your SGA vice president, and Wilbert Morra is your SGA president.
CATHERINE: Did you know that you could join the marching band without being enrolled in a fall music class? Did you play an instrument in middle school? Are you a pianist or a drummer? We have openings for the fall season – especially for trumpets and percussionists, but we have open space for all instruments. We rehearse some over the summer so we can catch up new players. PLUS – Marching band members receive 50 SSL hours! Come check us out Tuesday and Thursday this week after school as we do a run through of the fall halftime show. We will be in the band room (room 14). If you can’t make it but want to learn more, contact Mr. Oldham in room 14 or go to mbhsmusic.com
SODA: Math Honor Society is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. To apply, go to https://tinyurl.com/mhsapply2018
Applications are due October 5, by noon. You must have taken up to Geometry in order to apply. You will need a recommendation from a current or former math teacher.

CATHERINE: Blazers there will be free SAT/ACT Prep is being offered here at Blair for Math and English! It will be from June 19 through June 30th and at 8am. You will learn about test taking strategies and get help with individualized practice! For more information OR to sign up, please visit Mr. Horne (room 245) or Ms. Davis (room 238).
SODA: Have you ever wanted to win an Olympic medal? Do you love biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, or engineering? If so, please consider joining the Science Olympiad team. You could become a specialist in areas ranging from “Disease Detectives” to “Dynamic Planet” to “Forensics”. If so, please email mbhs.science.olympiad@gmail.com for more information. Thanks!
