SAM: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is SAM. Or, as a wise man once said, “Sam I am.”
CATHERINE: And I’m CATHERINE. In recent news, Puerto Rico is still suffering from the effects of hurricane Maria with no power or water.
SAM: Hey Blazers! Are you fresh out of freshman year? If you’re a sophomore and you want to help make great changes, you should join Sophomore class council! The first meeting is this Thursday in room 251. If you have any questions ask Guy or Camille your president and vice president when you see them in the hallways. We hope to see you there.
CATHERINE: The Minority Scholars Program meets every Tuesday in room 253 after school at 2:45 until 3:20. Peer tutoring and study groups are also available during lunch in rooms 253 and 151. See Mr. Smith, Mr. Culver, Ms. Edwards, or Ms. Bruno for more information.
SAM: Public speaking announcement: Blair’s Public Speaking and Performance Club meets tomorrow! Do you act or perform? Would you like to learn how to? If so, stop by room 133 at 3:30 to learn how to improve your speaking skills! All vocal chords are welcome!
CATHERINE: Do you like art, literature, and graphic design? You should join Silver Quill, Blair’s literary arts magazine! They meet on Tuesdays after 9th period in room 141. The first meeting is today– there QUILL be snacks!
SAM: Hey Blazers! Let’s honor the Hispanic Heritage through History and Art. Students and staff, enjoy the giant reproductions during the week of September 25th through the 29th, including one of the most famous of his paintings, called Guernica. The exhibit celebrates art, Spanish language, history and culture!  Teachers, make your reservations and bring your students to visit the different stations that are waiting for all.
CATHERINE: Do you want SSL hours? Would you like to help your fellow Blazers improve academically? If you are a junior or senior, sign up to be a BLISS Online Tutor! SAM: Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock. It was running from the biology team because they were going to dissect it! If you’re interested in biology, their first meeting is on Tuesday, October 3rd, during both lunches in rooms 365 and 325, respectively. Their first dissection will be soon! CATHERINE: Attention Juniors! The PSAT is coming up. Pick up a form from the Counseling office and return it by this Friday to pay for it! Sign up for the PSAT, ASAP.

CATHERINE: Calling all poets, writers, rappers, singers, beat-boxers, and creative thinkers. Blair’s Slam Poetry will begin meeting every Thursday in 252 at 3:00 pm. If you can’t make the meeting, talk to Ms. Edwards in her classroom 252.
CATHERINE: Juniors! All junior wear is on pre-sale now during your lunch period! During 5th period in room 250! And during 6th in room 253! Remember to get your shirt! Show Blair and 2019 Class spirit. Shirts are $15 and hoodies are $25. Have any questions ask Wilbert or Karen your class officers. Also go to their meetings on Wednesdays in room 250 after school.
SAM:This Friday, September 29th, is the first meeting of the year for the CUPS mental health service club. Learn to be a better active listener, support friends and strangers, and earn SSL hours. They meet in room 138 after school on Thursdays and lead workshops, learn about what is happening in the world and share their opinions! Snacks are provided! On Thursdays, come to room 138 after school. That is, if you can find the room: I’ve heard it has no labels.

Sofia: Les queremos informar que La Esquina Latina está aceptando nuevos escritores para este año escolar.

Michael: Si a ustedes les gustaría escribir sobre temas que son de importancia e interés para la comunidad latina de Blair y si cumplen con los siguientes requisitos que aparecen en pantalla……

Sofía: Tener dominio del español oral y escrito…haber tomado o estar tomando cursos avanzados de español (esto incluye español para hispanohablantes, español 4 o 5 o ap lenguaje o literatura), querer ser una voz para la comunidad de Blair o poder trabajar y colaborar bien en equipo de trabajo
