SEBASTIEN: And I’m Sebastien. In the news, a new emoji was added to Twitter on Friday. The Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags will be available for use on the social media site starting this week, a step in the direction of equality and fairness for these marginalized groups.
KENIA: Today’s weather will be a high of 81 and a low of 60 with scattered thunderstorms.
SEBASTIEN: There will be a mandatory informational meeting for all Blair students interested in cheerleading next year tomorrow at 4pm in room 117. Go meet the new coaches and get all the necessary information.
KENIA: Every year, more than 100 volunteers work together to make the AFI Documentary Film Festival: Washington DC’s premier filmmaking event. Volunteers are needed to assist in all areas of the festival from June 14th through 18th, by working at the box office and ushering at screenings or providing key social media and photography support. Anyone interested can reach out to docsvolnteers@gmail.com or check out the link below.
