| MARISA: And I’m MARISA. Election day is next Tuesday, but challenges to Maryland’s voting system have already begun. Mostly Republican groups, including gubernatorial candidate Dan Cox, have filed lawsuits combatting early counting of early votes, rules around mail-in voting, and many other issues that Republicans raised following the 2020 elections. |
| SIENA: Billionaire Elon Musk has finished his purchase of Twitter, finalizing a deal first offered in April. Musk tried to withdraw his offer three times before the deal was completed, but failed each time. He has said that he plans to loosen speech restrictions on the platform, but hasn’t released any official plans. |
| MARISA: Protests against the Iranian government have continued into their second month as tensions rise in the country. Last month, protests began following the death of a Kurdish-Iranian woman in government custody. Human rights group Amnesty International has reported the deaths of at least 90 people since the unrest began. |

You might want to bring an umbrella while you’re trick or treating because there is a chance of showers, but you’re getting a little old for trick or treating come on. Tomorrow, it will be partly sunny with a high near 70 and a low around 51. Wednesday will have a high of 68 and a low around 49 with mostly sunny skies.
