SEBASTIEN: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is SEBASTIEN. In the news, Syria plans to join in the Paris Climate Accord, leaving the United States as the only country that doesn’t plan to join.
CATHERINE: And I’m CATHERINE. Seniors! Remember those portraits you took? It’s now time to select which picture will be featured in the yearbook. Please come see a Silverlogue staff member this week on Blair Boulevard to select your portrait. After this Friday, Silverlogue will be choosing your picture for you. Late requests will not be accepted! If you have any questions, please contact Silverlogue at mbhs.silverlogue@gmail.com.
SEBASTIEN: Blair now has a mandatory study hall for indoor track and field team members. The first day of study hall and practice is November 15th! Study hall will run from 2:40 until 3:45 in rooms 352 and 345. See Coach Johnson-Wormley or Coach Earle if you have any questions.
CATHERINE: The Asian Lit Club will be reading Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi this month! It is a graphic novel about the author’s childhood in Iran and the Iranian Revolution. They will be discussing the book on Thursday, November 30, after 9th period. Email asianlitclub@gmail.com for more details. They hope to see you there!
SEBASTIEN: Hey Blazers! Thanksgiving season is near, so please remember to give thanks for what you have and also think about donating this holiday season to people who are in need. Our canned food drive has started. Donation boxes are available in most first period classrooms and in each department. Happy thanksgiving season!
CATHERINE: Attention Blazers! Tomorrow is a half day. Want to do something fun after ninth period? Girl Up is hosting a screening of the move “Flint”. There will also be a bake sale, be sure to check it out!
SEBASTIEN: The Academy Program is hosting a Live Exotic Animal Show on Wednesday, November 22! If you’re interested in seeing a show and having your picture taken with a kangaroo or a bearded dragon, come see Ms. Blaha in Rm 342 by this Friday for a permission slip. The animals will kanga-RULE.
