HUNTER: Good Afternoon, Blazers, and welcome back to Info flow from home! Today is Monday, December 7th and 
I’m HUNTER.
KANAYO: And I’m KANAYO. In local news, Montgomery County has reached 34,425 cases of COVID-19 and 928 deaths as of  Friday, December 4th.
HUNTER: The results of the MCPS boundary study will have to wait. A report Started in January 2019 the goal of the study is to discover how home-school boundaries impact students' quality of education. MCPS has said there will be no surprise boundary changes and that the results of the study are not binding. 
KANAYO: In additional MCPS news, the board of education has delayed the approval for a plan to re-open k through 12 schools, following a spike in COVID cases. 
HUNTER: Shifting our focus to global news, millions of farmers have taken to the streets in the Indian capital of New Delhi to march against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Newly instituted laws could potentially leave farmer’s without income.

Do you have any questions or need help completing the idoc? If so, you should stop by the W.E.B DuBois Honor Society College Essay Workshop and Info Session on December 10th. The idoc info session will start at 4 p.m. and the college essay review  will follow, beginning at 5. See you there!
HUNTER: Attention sophomores. The class council has launched the official Class of 23’ instagram account for Blair. Keep up with the account as President Janya Mustafa and Vice President Kevin Rha promote some super cool upcoming events. @mbhs_23

STEM ARTS NIGHT 
HUNTER: Wow, what a great opportunity for students to share their artistic talents!
During these difficult times community is more important than ever before. Over the weekend a gofundme page was set up for Blair junior Jeriel David - His father wrote that David was diagnosed with a serious liver disease and underwent a successful liver transplant in August but that the family is struggling to pay the $10,000 worth of medical bills that are a result of ongoing treatment. The page went viral on Blair social media and has raised over $9,000 dollars as of Sunday night as students and parents post messages of encouragement for the family. If you’d like to make a donation a link to the page is on our website and in our bio on Instagram.
