| ALYSSA: And I’m Alyssa. On Saturday, governor Larry Hogan cited CDC data saying that 99 percent of all Maryland seniors, ages 65 and older, have had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Maryland continues to rank among the top 10 in the nation for vaccines for senior citizens. |
| BELA: The COP26 climate conference in Glasgow officially ended last Friday. Diplomats were able to settle on an agreement that aims to intensify efforts to fight climate change and calls for governments to return next year with plans to cut emissions. The agreement also pushes for wealthier nations to increase their funding by 2025 in order to protect nations that are most vulnerable to increasing global temperatures. |

| MIREYA: Hey, Blazers! I hope you had a good weekend. And even with some chilly temperatures, let’s make it a great week. Today we are looking at mostly sunny skies, a high around 51 degrees, some strong winds, and a low of 38 degrees. Tomorrow, we will have a high of 64 and a low of 50 degrees with sunny skies. On Thursday, we will be seeing mostly sunny skies. The high will rise all the way up to 69 degrees and the low will be around 38 degrees. Finally on Friday, it will be sunny with a high of 48 and a low of 33 degrees. Continue to wear those jackets blair and Yasmeen will tell you about this weekend’s weather on Friday! |
