| SAMMI: Welcome back, Blazers, today is Thursday, September 30th. I’m SAMMI. |
| LEVI: And I’m Levi. The Montgomery County Council formally introduced legislation that would require COVID-19 vaccinations for all county employees. County Executive Marc Elrich along with 3 county unions oppose this mandate. The mandate would allow for medical exemptions, and if not vaccinated they could face being put on unpaid leave or termination. |
| SAMMI: Blair Amnesty International is writing letters to put pressure on the US government to fight for the rights of people affected by human rights violations in Afghanistan. If you’re interested, come to room 226 during lunch today and tomorrow, or September 30 and October 1. |
| LEVI: PSA to all students who regularly use the chromebooks that the school has provided everyone. The system will run faster and longer if you restart the machine daily. So if you’ve noticed your chromebooks has slowed down, give this a try! |

| LEVI: Blair HOSA is a brand new club dedicated to helping students explore fascinating topics within the healthcare field. As a HOSA member, you will be able to participate in a variety of competitive events that cover many aspects of health science, including medical ethics, forensics, epidemiology, and bio-engineering. There will be an interest meeting next Monday [10/04] during lunch in room 365. If you have any questions, please message the email below [hosablair@gmail.com] or message @blairhosa on Instagram. |
| SAMMI: If you are interested in joining the Muslim Student Association, come on Fridays, starting October 1st during lunch. They will have discussions about Islam and you will be able to meet new Muslims. |
| LEVI: Do you think you have what it takes to be THE official Pep Rally MC? The SGA is calling all blazers to fill out the form, found in the SGA instagram bio [@blairsga]. Auditions will be held in the SGA room, room 222, during lunch [09/30] today. They hope to see you there!! |
| SAMMI: Applications for homecoming court are now open! Each class will have two people on the court. Apply using the form linked in the bio of their instagram: @blairsga. The deadline to apply is Saturday, October 2nd. Voting will begin on Monday, October 4th and winners will be announced at homecoming. |
