MATT: And I’m MATT. Have you heard of Dr. Ellen Ochoa? If you didn’t, she was the first Hispanic woman astronaut to go into space.
AMINA: If you plan on trying out for the boys JV or Varsity basketball team this winter, the boys basketball team will be having an informational meeting on Monday, October 14th during lunch in room 117. Please see Coach Charles or Coach Pigrom in the boys PE office for details.
MATT: Now, let’s take a look at the fourth Chips week

AMINA: Thinking about scheduling a college visit? Please remember to submit your excuse note to the attendance office before you go! Be sure to include the name of the college, your ID number, parent signature, and phone number.
MATT: Please join the PTSA for their October Blair PTSA General Body Meeting on Monday, October 14th from 2:30-4:30pm. They will have a Parent-Teacher-Student Mixer with fun games in the Cafeteria/Student Activity Center (SAC). Students are encouraged to come out and there will be food! Please contact Mariama Orange at president@blairptsa.org.

AMINA: If you enjoy skiing, want to improve your skills, or want to learn to ski then make sure to join ski club.
MATT: Do you want to hear about a film camp at American University? Would you like to learn about Global Entrepreneurship? What about what it’s like to be a student director, to work at KID museum, or at Holy Cross Hospital? Then check out the Capstone Showcase Sampler in the Blazers Commons during lunch on Monday, October 14th.
