ALANNA: And I’m ALANNA. Did you know Hispanics are the largest ethnic minority in the United States? They make up approximately 17% of the population and it is estimated that by the year 2060, they will constitute approximately 31%.
HUNTER: Join Girl Up in room 164 at 3:30pm every week on Thursday to discuss issues and learn about women empowerment. You better FEMALE-arize yourself with the club.
ALANNA: Hey Blazers, are you interested in joining Blair’s most fun sports team? Join Blair Swimming and Diving! They will be holding an interest meeting in room 138 on Monday October 7th. This meeting is for all new members or anybody who has not been on the team before, they hope to see you there!
HUNTER: Now, let’s take a look at Art and Culture class at Blair

HUNTER: Hope you can spread your creativity, Blazers.
ALANNA: Blazers! The Blood Drive is on October 11th in the small gym. Don’t forget, without filling out a form, you won’t be eligible to donate blood! Forms can be filled out at the sign-up table on Blair Boulevard. Sign-ups start October 7th and end on the 11th. Teachers and students over 16 are welcome!
HUNTER: Attention teachers and students! Blazer Crafts could use your help, if you have any craft supplies that you’d be willing to donate to their club, bring them to room 7.
ALANNA: There will be a meeting today during lunch in room 117 for all boys who are interested in playing lacrosse this spring.
