| JASON: The Human Services Professions Academy is presenting the second part of the Sociology Series with a guest speaker who will talk about Clinical Social Work. The presentation will be Friday, March 29th, during 5th period, in the media center. See Ms. Jacobs in the English Department to register for the presentation, and for more information. |
| ALANNA: Hey Blazers, if you are interested in completing a Capstone Project stop by the Academy table on Blair Boulevard during 5th or 6th lunch Thursday March 28th or Friday March 29th to speak with a lead teacher or sign up for a Capstone Presentation. This year’s Spring Capstone Showcase will be on Thursday April 25th in the Media Center. If you have any questions please contact Academy Coordinator, Ms. Wall. |
| JASON: Want to finish off Women’s History Month Strong? Why not thank your very own girl heroes here at blair with a Girl Hero Candy Gram! The Girl Up club will be selling Girl Hero Grams for $1 each on blair blvd today and all of next week. All the money raised will go to Days for Girls, an organization that distributes sustainable menstrual to girls around the world. Come out and show support for all of the amazing women in your life and buy a Girl Hero Gram! |
| ALANNA: Key Club is holding their annual Clash of Classes game on Wednesday, April 10th from 3:30 to 4:45 in the main gym. Clash of Classes is a fundraiser event that is aimed to raise awareness and money to support for Flint Michigan’s Water Crisis. For the past five years, Flint, Michigan, has been struggling with undrinkable water. The Clash of Classes game is being played between different classes and the winner is rewarded with a personalized banner that will be on display in the third floor of Blair Boulevard. Tickets are sold for two dollars each on the day of the event; awesome raffle prizes awarded so keep your ticket! Food and water will also be sold! Make sure to bring a friend! |
