SODA: I know there’s an old blair and a new blair, but have you heard of OneBlair? It is going to expand its leadership team. They’ve got a lot of great projects and events in the works. If you are interested in helping design, plan, and carry out projects designed to make Blair more inclusive and empower students, fill out the form at tinyurl.com/oneblairleads You can go there to see all the things they’re working on and suggest other ideas and projects. Leadership interviews will take place from today to the 26th.
KENIA: If you LOVE captain marvel, think wonder woman would make a great president, and your personal heroes are anyone from the Big Bang Theory, the Montgomery County Public Library has the perfect SSL hour opportunity for you. Montgomery county public libraries is sponsoring the 2nd Annual comic convention, MoComCon, on Saturday, January 27th from 11 am – 4pm. SODA: The Blair wrestling team is still undefeated in county competition. They have a home match today at 6:15 PM. Please come out and cheer them on!
KENIA: Tomorrow the Montgomery Blair High School Counseling Department will host 11th grade parent information night. It begins at 7:00pm. All 11th Grade parents are invited.
SODA: The 2018-2019 MCPS Student Member of the Board (SMOB) filing period has now opened. Any current sophomores or juniors interested in applying for the (SMOB) will need to complete the SMOB nomination form and submit it to Student Leadership Office by January 25.
