SEBASTIEN: And I’m SEBASTIEN. In recent news, despite the many devastating impacts of the recent hurricanes, there has been at least one silver lining: dolphin reproduction may be on the rise as a result of hurricanes Irma and Maria.

SEBASTIEN: Wanna read cool books? Meet cool people? Try new food? If so, join Asian Lit Club! This month they will be reading The Refugees by Viet Thanh Nguyen, a collection of short stories about Vietnamese refugees exploring questions of immigration, identity, love, and family. Read one story, or read them all! They will be discussing the book on Thursday, October 26th, after 9th period. Email asianlitclub@gmail.com for more details. See you there!
SEBASTIEN: Attention students planning to present their Capstone projects at the Fall Capstone Showcase on Monday, October 9! If you have not received a pass from Ms. Blaha for parent and teacher signatures, please see her in room 342 as soon as possible. Forms are due by Friday, October 6.
