EMMETT: And I’m EMMETT. Hey Blazers, did you know there’s an open mic this Friday? That’s right! Come to the auditorium during 5th and 6th period on Friday the 27th for wonderful music and great entertainment! Sign up at tinyurl.com/mbhsopenmic. You must sign up to perform! See you there!
CATHERINE: Have you always wanted to be a star, but have never found the right opportunity? If so, it’s not too late to sign up for Blair One Act auditions! Come out and act in one of five, hilarious short plays. Auditions are being held in room 135 today and tomorrow after school from 2:30-3:45. It doesn’t matter if you have zero acting experience, you can still audition! Sign up using the sheet located in the arts hallway. If you can’t make any of the times listed on the sheet, email Blaironeacts2k18@gmail.com and they’ll find a time right for you.
EMMETT: Blazers, Pirates of Penzance is coming up and you don’t want to miss it! It’s an action packed show full of music and excitement. Performances are at 7 pm on the 27th, and 28th. There will also be a show tomorrow at 4pm. Tickets are 7 dollars for students and 10 dollars for adults. Don’t miss out!
CATHERINE: Sarah Leavitt, a historian for the National Building Museum, will be coming to speak to the Blair History Club about her museum exhibition on community policing. If you are interested in history, be sure to come and check it out during sixth period lunch in Rm. 242!
EMMETT: Congratulations to Lintaro Donvan & Katt Alcantara, both sophomores, on being elected to represent Montgomery Blair High School and all of Maryland at a conference on national affairs!
