GUY: And I’m GUY. Today in the news, snow leopards are no longer endangered! They’re being SPOTTED more and more!

EMMETT: Do you like free food and helping others? If so, math honor’s society is the place for you. Applications can be found at tinyurl.com/applymhs and must be submitted by September 22nd. Please see Ms. Hsu in room 235 or email mbhs.mhs@gmail.com if you have any questions!

GUY: Did you do a cool activity this summer? Are you interested in earning an Academy Certificate for graduation? Sign up to do a Capstone Project with Ms. Blaha or your Academy lead teacher in Rm. 342!

EMMETT: Roses are red, violets are blue, college is scary, applications are due!! I know college sounds terrifying blazers, but coming to the College Admissions Panel just might help that. It’s today at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. Roll through for some college knowledge!

GUY: Worried about your grades? Frustrated at the poor rollout of mymcps? Fear not! All your grades can be accessed through a few simple steps. Either access the portal through the resources tab of instructor, or by going to portal.mcpsmd.org. There are also 2 apps: “mymcps” for Apple devices, or “Montgomery Public Schools” for Android devices.

EMMETT: If you like talking politics and fighting for change, then Blair’s Young Democrats Club is for you. The club will hold its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 20 in room 164. There will be snacks!

GUY: Hey Blazers! Infoflow can no longer accept videos created by groups or clubs at Blair. We are, however, always open to collaborating with your club or program to produce a video. So if you want a video to turn on Infoflow to promote your club or event, please stop by the studio during period 5 or 6 and our staff can help! You can also request a video via our website, bnconline.net. Just use the Submit News tab at the top of the page to request a video. Thanks!

EMMETT: Japanese Anime Club will have the first meeting on Wednesday, September 20th from 2:45 to 3:45 in room 226. Go check out the Japanese Anime Club to learn about Japanese culture and watch Japanese Anime.

GUY: Did you volunteer over the summer?  If you would like to receive Student Service learning hours for your work, all forms must be submitted by Friday, September 29th. SSL Activity Verification forms can be submitted to the main office or to room 130. See Mrs. Sanchez if you have any questions.

EMMETT: Go check out wrestling! They have open mats at 3:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday in the wrestling room. To all Freshman and Sophomores especially, go check it out! No prior sports experience is needed.

GUY: Attention Blair students! The Academy Program is offering a new graduation certificate – the Global Education Certificate.  Find out how you can earn a personalized college recommendation letter and a special honor cord at graduation by doing a project to improve the lives of people around the world! EMMETT: Do you know things? Do you like knowing new things? If so, check out It’s Academic, where they know things competitively! The first practice will be tomorrow in Room 215. Hope to see you there!

GUY: Hey Freshmen! We know you are new to the school, but consider running for class office! Elections for freshman president and vice president are coming up soon. The first task of freshman class council is to decorate your class’ hallway during homecoming week, and president and vice president will be organizing this. Applications are due September 25th. Pick one up outside room 161 or go to sga.mbhs.edu to print one!

EMMETT: The activity fair is around the corner on September 27th! If you want to showcase your club to other Blair students, this is the perfect opportunity! Make sure you get in contact with Mr. Funk by today about club contracts and reserving a table for the fair! Your club should be represented, it’s only fair.
