IYANU: Welcome Back, Blazers. Today is Monday, January 30th, 2017, the first day of the second semester.
TRUNK: We’ve got a packed show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

TRUNK: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Trunk,
IYANU: And I’m Iyanu. The weather for today will be cloudy with a high of 37.
TRUNK: In the news, the first paralyzed human to be treated with stem cells has regained movement in his upper body. Kristopher Boesen lost all control of his body from the neck down after a car crash, but only 2 months after beginning treatment, he was able to write his name and operate a wheelchair. This is a big step in stem cell research, and doctors hope to continue to use the treatment in cases of Parkinson’s and cancer.
IYANU: The terrific Blazer Poms team has their county championship this Saturday, February 4 at 9:30am at Richard Montgomery High School.  Go out and support the team.  Tickets are available through the Athletic Director’s office which is across from the main office, during both lunches all week.  All tickets are $5.  Beat the long lines and buy the tickets in advance.  Go Poms!
TRUNK: Go check out the February Montgomery County Regional General Assembly! It will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at Thomas S. Wootton High School. We are happy to have Wootton host for the first time in decades! Go to the SGA office (room 161) for a permission slip,
IYANU: Blazers, do you want to help produce InfoFlow? Well here’s your chance. BNC is taking applications for the 2017-2018 school year. Come down and get an application outside room 100. The deadline for submitting your application is today.
