CARLOS: And I’m Carlos. The weather for today will be rainy with a high of 51 degrees and a low of 42. |
KENIA: In the news, 2016 has been officially reported as the hottest year on record, becoming the third straight year to take the title, further confirming the phenomenon known as global warming. As the climate heats up, so does the national policy debate over what, if any, preventative action should be taken. |
CARLOS: Attention All rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors! It’s that time again to register for your classes for next school year! Starting this week the scheduling program will be open to students. Students will get their registration sheet in their social studies class. Social studies teachers will guide students to log on to the program and enter their courses. The deadline for students to enter courses in January 31st. During February, all students will meet with their counselor to review and finalize their requests. All course bulletins are available on the Counseling web page. |
KENIA: Are you interested in becoming a member of Blair’s award-winning yearbook, Silverlogue? Are you a motivated, hardworking student who enjoys writing, photography, and design? Are you a fluent Spanish-speaker, or do you have a passion for business? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please pick up an application outside of room 241 and return it to the same location as soon as possible. We look forward to meeting all applicants! |
CARLOS: Speaking of our yearbook, club photos for the yearbook will take place on February 8 and February 9. Please find your club’s time on a poster on Blair Boulevard. Thanks, and the Silverlogue staffers look forward to seeing you there! |

The early registration discount expires soon and spots are limited so hurry. This is not an MCPS-sponsored trip (raise one eyebrow skeptically). |
