| TRUNK: In the news, President Elect Donald Trump’s transition team has begun asking Congress to pay for his suggested expansion to our border walls. This contradicts his campaign promise to “make Mexico pay for the wall.” |
| KENIA: Do you love reading? Are you interesting in mentoring elementary school students? This spring Blair is mentoring students at New Hampshire Estates Elementary School and Sligo Creek Elementary School. If you can commit to one day a week after school for part of the spring semester, one of these programs may be a great fit for you! You will earn SSL hours and positively impact student lives in amazing ways. If you are interested come to the interest meeting next Tuesday, January 10, from 2:45 – 3:15 in the MC conference room. | TRUNK: Blazers, non-violent civil disobedience is a form of protest that has been used in civil rights movements across the world. The Blair Interracial Dialogue team will be hosting a training session on nonviolent civil disobedience this Thursday, the 12th, from 2:30 to 4:30 in room 266. In order to attend the training session, you can pick up a permission slip outside the social studies office–Room 146 or outside the satellite office in room 223.
