| SEBASTIEN: And I’m SEBASTIEN. In the news, according to a new study in the scientific journal Current Biology green areas of Antarctica have increased fivefold in the past half-century. Scientists from Exeter University, Cambridge University and the British Antarctic Survey predict that due to this change in the upcoming decades new ecosystems will continue to spread into the southernmost continent and researchers on the continent are taking many precautions to make sure that invasive species do not spread through human activity. |

| SEBASTIEN: Attention all Basketball fanatics! The boys varsity basketball team will be holding tryouts for their annual summer league. Tryouts will be held Tomorrow may 23rd and Wednesday 24th in the main gym at 3:30pm. See Coach Pigrom in the PE office with questions. |
| JESSICA: Every year, more than 100 volunteers work together to make the AFI Documentary Film Festival: Washington DC’s premier filmmaking event. Volunteers are needed to assist in all areas of the festival from June 14th through 18th, by working at the box office and ushering at screenings or providing key social media and photography support.
