IYANU: And I’m Trunk. In the news, the GOP has started outlining its second attempt at an Obamacare repeal. The new deal put forth by New Jersey representative Tom MacArthur and North Carolina representative Mark Meadows, will attempt to preserve some popular sections of the Affordable Care Act like coverage for pre-existing conditions and allow for states to opt out of several major provisions. |
TRUNK: The Montgomery County Regional Grant Program Application has been extended to April 24th. All clubs that have an educational purpose and cultivate leadership in any way are encouraged to apply. Please visit the MCR website for the application and for more information.

TRUNK: AAUW Gaithersburg sponsors an annual Book Sale to raise money for scholarships and programs for women and girls. The sale is at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, and they are looking for student volunteers for the next two weekends. If you want to earn some student service learning hours at the book sale, contact Elizabeth Hessel at liz@meral.com to register for a volunteer shift or see Mrs. Hiscock in room 130. |
