| SHESH: And I’m SHESH. The weather for today will be warm but partially cloudy with a high of 78 and a low of 50. |
| IYANU: In the news, spring break happened last week and Blazers had fun in the sun and took a well-deserved break from school. |
| SHESH: The 3rd annual Silver Chips 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be next Wednesday April 26th at 3:30 p.m. You can have up to 4 people on your team (3 people and 1 sub), and it costs $5 per person. Everyone who participates will get a slice of pizza and gatorade. The winners will get T-Shirts. It is open to students and staff. You can sign up at the table on Blair Boulevard all this week and the week after break. |
| IYANU: The Montgomery County Regional Grant Program Application has been extended to Monday, April 24th. All clubs that have an educational purpose and cultivate leadership in any way are encouraged to apply. Please visit the MCR website at the link below for the application and for more information.

| SHESH: Volunteers are needed for the 29th Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup this Saturday from 9am -12pm. This is a service learning opportunity to help improve our environment. Once a year, there is a big effort to clean up the Potomac River and its huge watershed area. Some of the cleanup sites are in your backyard. If interested, please contact Jim Heins, coordinator of these sites at the email address below.

| IYANU: Thank you to Ms. Austin’s class for donating the most, 35 canned food items, to the Paper Crane Foundation for the NIH Children’s Inn! The pizza party for the class will be on Friday, April 21. Thanks to all the classes who participated! |
