SODA: Hey there, Blazers. Today is Thursday, February 16th, 2017.
SEBASTIEN: We’ve got a CENT-sational show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

SEBASTIEN: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Sebastien.
SODA: And I’m Soda. The weather for today will be partly cloudy with a high of 39 and a low of 26.
SEBASTIEN: Today in black history, in 1970 boxer Joe Frazier knocked out Jimmy Ellis in a New York fight, crowning Frazier as the world heavyweight boxing champion. “Smokin’ Joe” retained his title until a 1973 bout with George Foreman. Frazier also famously beat Muhammad Ali in 1971. All three fighters are currently in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
SODA: There will be an interest meeting for Outdoor Track today at 2:45 p.m and at 3:30 p.m in room 235. Please come if you’re interesting in running in the spring!
SEBASTIEN: Sorry Blazers there were complications within the congress dates. Congress will not be this week, it will be on February the twenty-second from three o’clock through four o’clock in the media center. Sorry Blazers for the confusion and hope to see you guys at Congress.
SODA: Young Democrats is holding an open discussion on healthcare, the Affordable Care Act, and the new implications of Trump’s proposed changes. The discussion is open to everyone from all backgrounds and beliefs! There will be experts on these topics coming in to speak, so come prepared with questions in mind and be ready to discuss these issues at hand. It will be held on February 22nd, from 3:30-4:30 in room 164.
SEBASTIEN:: Attention current Blair Crew team members and anyone who is interested in rowing this spring:
There will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February 16, from 3:30-4:30 across the street at the Silver Spring United Methodist Church, in room 111. Again, this meeting is mandatory for all current rowers and anyone interested in learning to row this spring. See you there and Row Blair!
SODA: The deadline for applications for BNC’s own Silverlens has been extended to the end of the week. If you’re interested in producing more in depth documentary style videos that will air on MCPS TV, stop by and pick up an application outside of room 102. But don’t wait. Apply now.
SEBASTIEN: Come to room 164 on Tuesdays at 3:30-4:30 for the MBHS Young Republicans’ Club. We’re looking to have open conversations about conservative ideology and current events. Whether you’re a conservative looking for a place to talk or a liberal looking to ask questions, we welcome you to come and discuss with us. Meetings are every Tuesday after 9th period in room 164
