TRUNK: Welcome back from the long weekend, blazers. Today is Tuesday, Halloween 4th, 2016.
JESSICA: We’re ready to pumpkin spice things up , but first, please stand for the pledge.

TRUNK:  Welcome to Infoflow. I’m Trunk,
JESSICA: And I’m Jessica. Today’s weather will be mostly sunny with a high of 73 and a low of 58.
TRUNK: In the news, the CDC recently announced that this year’s flu vaccine has been changed slightly since last year. Added into this year’s updated vaccine are protections against an additional strain, covering four types of flu instead of just three. Along with this alteration, the CDC has changed its opinion on how you should get vaccinated, recommending injection over mist as the most viable way to protect yourself.
JESSICA: Homecoming 2k16 is coming on October 22nd! Tickets are on sale from today through October 14th during both lunches, but not after school. Tickets are $20.00 per student, but you may not attend if you have obligations! You can also purchase tickets online! Go to the Blair website for more information. Tickets are not refundable. Put it on your calendar, we hope to see you there!
TRUNK: The deadline for submitting an application to Mu Alpha Theta honor society is Thursday, October 6th. If you’ve completed Algebra 2 and have a 3.0 math GPA, you’re eligible to join! Applications are still available on Ms. Hsu’s desk in 238.
JESSICA: Are you interested in writing, art, or music? Do you want to work on one of Blair’s publications? Are you up for running Blair’s open mics? Join Silver Quill, Blair’s literary arts magazine! No experience is required, just show up in room 141 every Tuesday  after ninth period. Talk to Mrs Mathews, or email silverquillmag@gmail.com for more details.
TRUNK: Congratulations to our Academy September Students of the Month! In the music, media, and the arts academy, we have Sophie Falvey; In STEM, we have Jayna John; in Entrepreneurship, Isaq Nur; in International Studies and Law, Hannah Schwartz; and in Human Services profession we have Feven Tadesse. Great work, guys!
