| TRUNK: And I’m TRUNK. In recent news, over 40 religious institutions have taken a stance against climate change and have announced a divestment of oil, coal, and fossil fuels. Wait, this just in! Apparently I… graduated. I’m being informed that because I am no longer a Blair student, I have zero reason to be hosting the show right now. Ohhh okay. My bad, folks. Take it away, SEBASTIEN! |

| CARLOS: Do you want SSL hours? Do you love to decorate? Next Wednesday each class will be decorating a hallway with their own theme. If you’re a freshman, your theme is PBS in the 240s hallway. If you’re a sophomore, your theme is Nickelodeon in the 160s hallway. If you’re a junior, your theme is Cartoon Network in the 220s hallways. And if you’re a senior, your theme is Disney in the 140s hallway. Come out and decorate to support your class! Yeah, that way. I might just deck out the hallway! |
| SEBASTIEN: Do you write, draw, or make original music? Do you have a burning desire to be published? Fear not! Silver Quill, Blair’s own literary magazine, is now accepting submissions all through first semester! Send your work to silverquillmag@gmail.com. Are you more of an editor than a producer? Be a part of the team, they meet Tuesdays after ninth in room 141. Can’t wait till then? Start preparing you act for the upcoming Blair Open Mic, taking place sometime soon during both lunches. |
| CARLOS: Hey Blazers! Are you interested in being involved in our county SGA? Do you want your voice to be heard throughout the county? Do you want to be in contact with our Student Member of the Board? If so, the first Montgomery County Regional General Assembly of the year is on October 16th. Any Blair student may attend. Permission slips are due on October 13th and are available outside of room 161. |
| SEBASTIEN: Attention W.E.B. DuBois Honor Society members, the organization will meet on Tuesday, October 17th at 2:30pm in the Career Center. Please email or see Dr. Howard if you are not able to attend the meeting. |
| CARLOS: Hey Seniors! If you missed your senior picture date, yearbook will be holding retakes on October 9th, 10th, and 11th in the auditorium and October 12th in the wrestling room throughout the day. This includes anyone in the class of 2018, even if you’re officially listed as a junior or a sophomore. We want to achieve our goal of picturing every student of the class of 2018 in this year’s book. We will be coming around to pull students from their non-academic classes that week, but on October 11th students need to make their way to the auditorium on their own. If you just want to take your photo that will be pictured in the yearbook it is FREE. |
