JESSICA: Hello Blazers! Today is Monday, May 1st, 2017.
SEBASTIEN: We’ve got a glamorous show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge

SEBASTIEN: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is Sebastien.
JESSICA: And I’m Jessica. The weather for today will be sunny with a high of 81 and a low of 62.
SEBASTIEN: In the news, scientists discovered DNA of extinct human beings at the Vindija Cave in Croatia. Archaeological finds like this can teach us a lot about the genetic composition of ancient humans.
JESSICA: There will be the Computer Science, Spanish Language, and Physics One AP tests tomorrow. If you’re taking one of those three tests, make sure to eat a healthy breakfast, get a good night’s sleep, and show up on time.
SEBASTIEN: Blair Bocce will be hosting a Bocce tournament on the second floor of Blair Boulevard after school this Friday. The competition starts at 3:30. Head on out to compete against the members of the Blair bocce team. The winners of the tournament will each receive a $15 Chipotle gift card.
JESSICA: Get hyped for After Prom! After Prom will be Sunday May 14 from midnight until 4:00 am. The event is open to all juniors and seniors. Bring a picture ID and arrive before 1:30 am to be admitted. There will be food, fun, casino games, laser tag, and tons of awesome prizes.
SEBASTIEN: The KID Museum Apprenticeship Program is currently recruiting students for the fall session. Apprentice applicants should possess a love of learning and a desire to engage with the public. Students can earn Service Learning hours and eligibility for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The deadline for applications is August 1 for the fall session. SEBASTIEN:  The Bob Long Journalism Award, created in honor of former News 4 director and Blair student, is open to all Montgomery Blair seniors. Create a short video individually or with a partner to be considered for the award. Visit the BNC website for details. Submissions are due by May 5th.
JESSICA: The W.E.B. Du Bois Honor Society is accepting app lications for membership. If you have a 3.0 grade point average, have demonstrated leadership in academic, athletic, or social organizations, and are interested in serving your school and local community, you should consider applying. Interested students should see Dr. Howard in the Counseling Office this week to pick up an application.
