| ANNIE: Mark Miles, a black Maryland-National Capital Police officer is suing his department alleging that his white supervisor Sgt. Stephanie Harvey created a hostile workplace through racist and disparaging remarks. He alleges that she and others wrote text messages with remarks about Black, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+ individuals in a group chat. Harvey also allegedly “openly participated in, condoned and encouraged” harrasment against non-white groups this harrasment included threats of violence. |
| GEO: Tacos Don Perez is set to open the “Biggest Food Trailer in MoCo” at the Glenmont Shopping Center on Saturday, March 19, according to a report from the MoCo Show. So if you’re into tacos, go out and support them tomorrow! |

We’re back from the SGA to share a little more about our upcoming event: the Mardi Gras- Spring Fling IANE: The Spring Fling is only 8 days away! And trust me, you do not want to miss out. We’ll have food including pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, beignets & more. ACH’SAH: For your musical pleasure, we’ll have a live brass band, karaoke, and DJs! MOOSAY: And once you get tired of dancing, we’ll have other fun activities such as jewelry making, face painting, Giant Connect 4 & more!IANE: Early bird sales have officially ended, but we’ll be selling tickets up until the 25th at the concession stand beside the gym.
