VIVIAN: And I’m VIVIAN. Commonly, in Hispanic culture, people shake hands when meeting, but as they get to know each other, men may hug each other and women may kiss each other on the cheek.
HUNTER: Come join CodeGirls for their first meeting during lunch tomorrow in room 328. The club is a great chance for girls to learn some fundamentals of coding and computer science and prepare for the American Computer Science League competitions. If you have any questions, email mbhscodegirls@gmail.com. Don’t miss it, girls!
VIVIAN: Hey Blazers, are you interested in the environment and everything green? Green club will be holding its first meeting today during lunch in room 210.
HUNTER: We are introducing a new recurring series to Infoflow called Silvernote. Let’s take a look at our first episode of musical talent!

VIVIAN: Do you want to become a good listener and help others? Are you passionate about mental health or you simply need SSL hours? If you said yes to any of these questions, then join CUPS Club. Our first meeting will be on Friday, September 27th during the second half of lunch in room 132. Email us at mbhscups@gmail.com with any questions.
HUNTER: If you want to help support your Blair’s student run newspaper, ask your parents to come to the SilverChips fundraiser. The event is being held at Silver Branch Brewing Company on September 27 from 6-9pm. The proceeds will go towards supporting your school and your counties local news. SilverChips thanks you for your support!
VIVIAN: Blood drive announcement, sign ups are October 7-11th, October 11th is the official date of blood drive in the small gym, students and teachers are welcome
HUNTER: If you are interested in joining National Honor Society pick up an application in the main office or find it online at mbhs.edu, deadline to turn in your forms to Ms. Coleman or Mr. Pham is October 4th.
VIVIAN: On October 11th, the Amnesty International Blair chapter will be holding its first club meeting in the Media Center during lunch. In the conference room, the club will be leading a discussion about intersectional activism and introducing the format of future workshops and meetings to come. They hope to see you there!
