Dexter: In the news, New York Mayor Bill De-Blasio has announced his bid for the presidency

Sam: National english honors society is having officer elections may 22nd at 2:30pm in room 218. Everyone is welcome to run for officer positions but must have a speech prepared. Attendance is mandatory unless you have a 9th period – if you do please let Ms. Fox know beforehand . Senior cords will be distributed at the elections

Dexter: ATTENTION ALL SENIORS! Silver Chips Print is putting together its annual senior edition where we publish seniors’ post-graduation plans, whether you are going to college, entering the workforce, joining the military, or doing anything else. To help us gather this information, please fill out our brief survey at the link below

Dexter: Juniors and Seniors, you are invited to Blairs After Prom 2019. Come out for an evening of fun, friends, games and music. You do not have to attend prom to attend After Prom. Doors open at midnight, no one admitted after 1:30, party goes til 4. Amazing prizes to be won, karaoke, black jack, tattoo artist, photo booth. We hope to see you there.

Sam: Seniors, Yearbook Distribution will take place from 2:30-4:00 on Monday in the SAC. Please join us for a yearbook signing party where there will be refreshments, good music, and plenty of colored pens to sign yearbooks.  You may register to vote at this time. Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen, you may pick up your book next week during 5th and 6th periods on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on Blair Boulevard.

Dexter: Do you care about your local environment? Do you want to protect Chesapeake Bay wildlife? Then go to the media center after school on Monday, May 20 at 4:00 to view the film An Inconvenient Truth and raise money for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Tickets are free of charge, but there is a suggested donation of $1 per person and there will be a bake sale before and after the film. All proceeds will go to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. They Hope to see you there.
