CARLOS: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is Carlos.
TRUNK: And I’m Trunk. There will be the US History, German Language and Culture and Computer Science Principles AP tests tomorrow. If you’re taking one of those tests, make sure to get a good night’s sleep tonight and eat a healthy breakfast tomorrow.
CARLOS: In the news, the North Korean Government confirmed that it is holding it’s American Tony Kim in prison. There are a confirmed three Americans being held in North Korea at this time, UVA Student Otto Warmbier, Businessman Kim Dong Chul and now Tony Kim who is an accounting professor at the Yanbian University of Science and Technology in Yanji, China
TRUNK: Today’s weather will be mild and sunny with a high of 67 and a low of 58.
CARLOS: Attention all boys interested in playing boys soccer in the fall.  A very important meeting with the new coach will take place on Monday, May 8th at 3:30pm in room 245.  Meet the coach and get all of the necessary information.  The meeting will last 30 minutes.
TRUNK: Get hyped for After Prom! After Prom will be Sunday May 14 from midnight until 4:00 am. The event is open to all juniors and seniors. Bring a picture ID and arrive before 1:30 am to be admitted. There will be food, fun, casino games, laser tag, and tons of awesome prizes.
CARLOS: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Nobel Laureate? Go to Career Connections Club today to find out. Dr. William Phillips, a Nobel Laureate in Physics, will be there to speak to students about his work and his career. The meeting will be during both lunches in the Career Center, room 121. TRUNK: Attention Seniors! The Bob Long Journalism Award/ Scholarship, created in honor of former News 4 director and Blair student, is open to all Montgomery Blair seniors. Create a short video individually or with a partner to be considered for the prize which comes with a scholarship of $2,000 per student. The deadline has recently been extended to May 21st. CARLOS: The W.E.B. Du Bois Honor Society is accepting applications for membership. If you have a 3.0 grade point average, have demonstrated leadership in academic, athletic, or social organizations, and are interested in serving your school and local community, you should consider applying. Interested students should see Dr. Howard in the Counseling Office this week to pick up an application.
TRUNK: The Sports Plus Annual Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at the JCC of Rockville at 6125 Montrose Road. They’re looking for volunteers to help with a variety of activities at the swim meet.  Volunteers can opt to “Get Wet,” or “Stay Dry.”  Volunteers are needed from noon until 6:30 pm.
