TRUNK: And I’m Trunk. In the news, a Space X Falcon rocket lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This marks the 34th flight for Space X, but the first for the United States Department of Defense. The goal of this space mission was not disclosed to the public. |
CARLOS: There will be the English Literature, Japanese, and Physics 2 AP tests tomorrow. If you’re taking one of those three tests, then make sure to get a good night’s sleep. |
TRUNK: Blair Bocce will be hosting a Bocce tournament on the second floor of Blair Boulevard after school this Friday. The competition starts at 3:30. Head on out to compete against the members of the Blair bocce team. The winners of the tournament will each receive a $15 Chipotle gift card. |
CARLOS: Get hyped for After Prom! After Prom will be Sunday May 14 from midnight until 4:00 am. The event is open to all juniors and seniors. Bring a picture ID and arrive before 1:30 am to be admitted. There will be food, fun, casino games, laser tag, and tons of awesome prizes. |
TRUNK: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Nobel Laureate? Go to Career Connections Club tomorrow to find out. Dr. William Phillips, a Nobel Laureate in Physics, will be there to speak to students about his work and his career. The meeting will be during both lunches in the Career Center, room 121. CARLOS: The Bob Long Journalism Award, created in honor of former News 4 director and Blair student, is open to all Montgomery Blair seniors. TRUNK: The W.E.B. Du Bois Honor Society is accepting applications for membership. If you have a 3.0 grade point average, have demonstrated leadership in academic, athletic, or social organizations, and are interested in serving your school and local community, you should consider applying.
