TRUNK: Hey there, Blazers. Today is Thursday, March 9th, 2017.
JESSICA: We’ve got a sublime show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

JESSICA: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Jessica.
TRUNK: And I’m Trunk. The weather for today will be mostly sunny with a high of 66 and a low of 42.
JESSICA: In the news, yesterday was International Women’s Day, a day for the worldwide celebration of women’s achievements and gender equality. Yesterday saw marches and other demonstrations across the world. This special day has been celebrated since the early 1900’s.
TRUNK: Girl Up will be hosting a guest speaker: global activist and Girl Up creator Kaia Lenhart, today in room 164 at 3:30. There will be a bake sale as well! Admission is free, but be sure to bring money to buy snacks!
JESSICA: Hey Blazers! Are you interested in running for President or Vice President of your class? If so, go to the SGA office, room 161, and pick up an application! Applications are due March 15.
TRUNK: The next Montgomery County Regional General Assembly is on March 15, at Northwest High School! This is a special General Assembly, because the Superintendent will be there to answer any questions you may have. Go to the SGA office, room 161, for a permission slip. They’re due on March 13.
JESSICA: Blazers! Do you want a free SAT, ACT, or AP review book? Do you have old books that you want to donate? Go to Blair Boulevard during both lunches any day next week (March 13th to 17th) to donate and swap review books. You can get the first book for free. After the first book, you get 1 book for every book you donate. Remember, this review book swap will take place during both lunches all of next week. TRUNK: The Blair Robot Project will be debuting “Calcifer”, this year’s Gear-Handling, Fuel-Shooting, and Climbing Robot at Walt Whitman High School this Saturday, March 11th. Go on out to Whitman to root on Team 449 as they take on local teams from Wheaton, North West, Poolesville and Whitman high schools and 35 other teams as they vie to claim the title of Greater DC champions!
JESSICA: Blair’s 5 on 5 “HOOPS” Basketball tournament is coming up on March 23rd.  Teams will consist of students, staff, police officers, and fire/rescue personnel together playing for to be this year’s champions.  All players will get a free t-shirt.  If you want to play, or just want more information, go to room 240 to sign up.
TRUNK: Hey Blazers! Have you heard about the Gandhi Brigade Documentary that was produced by six Blair students this summer? Well, if you want to check out an award-winning documentary about police accountability, and join a discussion afterward, go to the Media Center during 5th or 6th period on March 16.
JESSICA: Calling all Seniors! Do you want to advertise your glow up in the yearbook? Send your baby photos to mbhssilverlogue17@gmail.com! The deadline to submit your baby photos has been pushed to March 10th, that’s this Friday, so don’t miss out. Again, if you’re a senior, email your baby photos to mbhssilverlogue17@gmail.com by this Friday to see them in the yearbook.
