| JESSICA: And I’m Jessica. In the news, President Trump has signed a new executive order banning travelers from six Muslim-majority countries from applying for visas. This order is an attempt to strengthen American borders and has come under heavy legal scrutiny. |
| TRUNK: Girl Up will be hosting a guest speaker: global activist and Girl Up creator Kaia Lenhart, on Thursday, March 9, in room 164 at 3:30. There will be a bake sale as well! Admission is free, but be sure to bring money to buy snacks! |
| JESSICA: Hey Blazers! Are you interested in running for President or Vice President of your class? If so, come to the SGA office, room 161, and pick up an application! Applications are due March 15. |
| TRUNK:The Montgomery County Regional SGA is running a grant program this year for students and their clubs. All clubs that have an educational purpose and cultivate leadership in any way are encouraged to apply. They will be allocating $1000 total to clubs for this second semester application period. | TRUNK: Congratulations to the Blair Mock Trial team! Thursday night the Blair prosecution was victorious over the Kennedy defense team, winning their first playoff round. This victory sends them to the Mock Trial quarterfinals today. Amazing job guys, and good luck in the quarterfinals. Make sure to come out and support the Mock Trial Team. |
