IYANU: Hey there, Blazers. Today is Wednesday, February 1st, 2017.
TRUNK: We’ve got a magical show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

IYANU: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Iyanu.
TRUNK: And I’m Trunk. The weather for today will be rainy with a high of 77 and a low of 44.
IYANU: In the news, a construction worker in Washington, DC was trapped under a collapsed sewage trench yesterday. The fire department was able to get him out unscathed, and roadwork will continue without delay.
TRUNK: Sophomores Claire Hibbeln, Anna Brookes, and Aline Marra have made a short documentary that has been nominated for the C-SPAN Student Cam “Fan favorite” award- but they need your vote to win. You can watch their documentary and vote for Blair at www.studentcam.org!
IYANU: Tomorrow OneBlair will be hosting a forum to discuss the racial divide and self segregation here at Blair. If you have an opinion about this, want to hear what others have to say, or can think of any solutions, come to the media center conference room during fifth and sixth period. See you there!
TRUNK: Interested in trying out for the all varsity cheer team? Got spirit? Come to conditioning work out every Wednesday starting today in the dance room  from 3:30- 5:30pm. BE sure and wear comfortable clothes. Open to both boys and girls grades 9-11.
IYANU: For all Spanish speakers and writers, the new Spanish yearbook section is looking for new applicants for next year. If you are interested in joining yearbook and can speak and write Spanish go to room 241 during 5th period to go pick up an application and to get any questions you have answered.  
TRUNK: Seniors, going on an accepted students college visit or for a scholarship interview? Be sure and turn in your note to the attendance office before you go! Leaving early? Please be sure to turn in a note and pick up a pass to sign out at  the attendance office in the morning before you go to class. Remember, all absence notes are to be turned in to your first or second block teacher. You have 3 days to turn in your absence note to either teacher.
IYANU: Want to hear from a Washington Post sports writer about how YOU can work in journalism? Come to the Career Connections Club tomorrow! Hey Blazers we are now halfway through the pennies for Patients fundraiser! This is a quick update on the events and games planned. Last week was the trivia game for Pennies now this week since Monday we have put out a new game. It’s called find 2. You need to donate to play, win or lose you get candy. And as for the jug competition the freshmen are winning!! Blazers donate and make sure your class beats the rest by raising the most for pennies. Next week we will have a new event and an email blast will be sent out to inform you guys on what it’s going to be about. Thanks guys donate today! .
