| CARLOS: And I’m Carlos. As registration for next year’s classes is starting, BNC will be airing a collection of class promotional videos after today’s show. Teachers, if you have time please leave infoflow running to let your students keep up with the flow. Snap and wink at the camera. |
| KENIA: The weather for today will be a high of 53 and partly sunny. |
| CARLOS: In the news, the official title for Star Wars Episode 8 has been announced. Disney confirmed the name as “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” This news caused a big stir in the fan community, with theories popping up left and right. An important thing to remember is that ‘Jedi’ can be plural, although the meaning is still up for interpretation. |
| KENIA: The Learning Center for Young Children cooperative preschool is having its annual Winterfest Carnival on Saturday, February 4th from 10AM to 2PM (The snow date is Feb.11th) They are looking for high school student to help at the event to earn SSL hours! Volunteers will work with the preschoolers on crafts and carnival games. The school in located in the Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church in Kensington. Students can sign-up online at the link below. | CARLOS: The Montgomery Science Fair, to be held in March, is in need of student volunteers. See Ms. Bosse in room 373 if you are interested in volunteering at the fair. SSL hours will be provided. |
