| KENIA: In the news, the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, Kelcy Warren, said that the company will continue through with the plan to build the pipeline despite ongoing protests. The pipeline’s progress has been halted since September by the federal government due to protesters. The proposal has drawn criticism from the Standing Rock Sioux tribe and environmentals. |
| JESSICA: Come to the stadium today during both lunches to buy pizza! Slices are 1.50 each, and drinks will be available for sale as well. |
| KENIA: Are you interested in learning more about a career at teaching? Attend a field trip to the University of Maryland on Friday, December 2nd. You will get a tour of the campus, and meet with faculty and staff at the College of Education, to learn what their program has to offer. See Mrs. Jacobs Ivey in Room 142 for details and permission slips. First come, first served with the availability. |
