SODA: In the news, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has reopened its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server for work-related material. FBI director James Comey announced this to congress on Friday of last week. |

SHESH: Want even more SSL hours? You can walk with Mid-County United Ministries and join those fighting hunger in our community! They will meet in the parking lot of the Presbyterian Church of the Atonement, and walk three-quarters of a mile along Georgia Avenue to the Mid-County Regional Services Center in Wheaton, where the organization’s pantry and offices are located. The walk will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20. Let’s honor Thanksgiving by making sure everyone has a seat at the table! |
SODA: Linguists have studied bilinguals for a long time: people who speak English and Spanish or French and Arabic. But what about people who use not two spoken languages, but two sign languages? Dr. Deborah Chen Pickler from Gallaudet University says these individuals are the next big thing in linguistic research.
