| NAHOM: And I’m Nahom. Montgomery County’s entire Planning Board recently resigned after allegations of a toxic and misogynistic workplace. The initial investigation started after an inspector general report found that Board Chair Casey Anderson kept liquor in his office, which led to an over investigation of the office where it was concluded that the entire board had a quote “hostile” workplace. |
| MORGAN: Multiple lawsuits aiming to block President Biden’s student debt relief program have been rejected by federal judges, allowing the program to begin its debt cancellation. The six Republican-led states that brought one of the lawsuits have already said that they plan to appeal the decision. |
| NAHOM: The Orionid meteor showers peaked in visibility last week. The Orionids are pieces of the trail of Halley’s Comet left behind as it passes through space. While the peak of the meteor showers already occurred, they’re still expected to last until mid-November, so be on the lookout at night! |
