[Infoflow intro] + [pledge of allegiance] |
MORGAN: Welcome back to Infoflow, Blazers. Today is Friday, October 28. I’m MORGAN. |
NAHOM: And I’m NAHOM. Assault charges against Northwest High School football coach Travis Hawkins have been dropped by county prosecutors. These charges were brought following a September 16 fight on the field between Northwest and Gaithersburg High Schools, which coaches participated in. Police have said that five other people, including four minors, are facing similar charges after the fight. |
MORGAN: Three men have been convicted of plotting to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020. The three men, along with two others who were convicted earlier this year, face up to 20 years in prison as they wait for the ruling on the eight others arrested for the same plot. |
NAHOM: The Russian government has conducted their first nuclear bomb test since their invasion of Ukraine this February. This test comes after accusations from both the Ukranian and Russian governments accused each other of planning to use radioactive bombs on the other side over the last week. |
MORGAN: And now, lets go to Bella, Sammi, and Habib for a new series, Best Eats on the Boulevard. |
