SERENA: And I’m SERENA. In the news, Matt Lauer from the Today Show has been fired after allegations of sexual misconduct.
SAM: Silver Chips is having a silent auction at Lincoln’s BBQ in downtown silver spring on December 4th. They are looking for people to contact them with connections they can use to get item donations for the auction. Contact Brenna at silverchips.business@gmail.com with any possible contributions or questions.
SERENA: Do you need SSL hours? Latin needs you. They are hosting the Certamen Saturnalium on December 9th. SAM: Are you interested in playing JV Lacrosse at Blair this spring? There will be an interest and information meeting today in room 119 at 2:45 pm. This is chance to meet Mr. Burnell, JV head coach, and learn about the off-season lifting program, conditioning , and key aspects of our offense and defense. Players of all skill levels including 1st timers are encouraged to go out and learn about the great game of lacrosse!
SERENA: The Muslim Students Association will now be meeting in room 218 for prayer during 6th, and 9th period regularly throughout the school year. Please email blair.msa@gmail.com with any further questions.
SAM: The Blair Free Minds Club will be having their second meeting on Monday, December 4th in the Media Center during both lunches. Please go to read and comment on poetry written by incarcerated men. If you have any questions please email them at freemindsmbhs@gmail.com.
