SAM: And I’m SAM. In the news, A hole has been found in the Khufu’s Great Pyramid at Giza. Scientist are unsure of what purpose it served, so their investigation is still on-going.
SEBASTIEN: Tickets for the Three Musketeers are on sale now in the attendance office! They’re $7 for Students and $10 for adults. Get yours before they sell out!
SAM: Attention Juniors and Seniors! Do you want more information about preparing for college and receiving financial aid? You should come to the fall college and career fair at Bohrer Park Center on November 7th from 10:00am to 1:00pm! Admission is free! For more information, talk to your counselor and get a permission slip.
SEBASTIEN: The Asian Lit Club will be reading Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi this month! It is a graphic novel about the author’s childhood in Iran and the Iranian Revolution. They will be discussing the book on Thursday, November 30, after 9th period. Email asianlitclub@gmail.com for more details. They hope to see you there!
SAM: Want to help mentor middle school children? Interested in diversity and equity in magnet programs? Become a Black CAP mentor. Mentors travel to middle schools after school on Thursdays to tutor middle schoolers and help them get accepted into choice programs across the county.
