TRUNK: What’s up, Blazers? Today is Thursday, October 13th, 2016.
LUCAS: We’ve got a monumental show for you, but first, please stand for the pledge.

TRUNK:  Welcome to Infoflow. I’m Trunk
LUCAS: And I’m Lucas. Guess what, Blazers? Today marks our 25th episode this year!
TRUNK: Wow! Time sure flies when you’re having puns.
LUCAS: All sentimentality aside, today’s weather will be mostly sunny with a high of 71 and a low of 49.
TRUNK: In the news, Obama announced Tuesday that he would try to work with private companies to complete a manned mission to Mars by 2030. This news comes ahead of the Frontiers Conference happening right now where scientists and students will meet to discuss the future of space travel.
LUCAS: Hey Blazers, please remember to bring a calculator on Wednesday, October 19th for our annual College Readiness Day!  You can bring either a graphing or scientific calculator.
TRUNK: Juniors and seniors, this notice is for you! If you are planning a college visit, please submit a note from your parents to the attendance office before you go!  Please include the date of absence and which college you will be visiting.
LUCAS: October is breast cancer awareness month, Blazers, and tomorrow, October 14th, is our all school pink out! Please remember to wear pink and support breast cancer awareness. Need something pink? Stop by the attendance office and purchase a pink wrist band or lanyard.
TRUNK: Our fall celebration is next week Friday, October 21. Don’t forget to sign up to participate in the Fall Celebration activities, including the class tug of war. Check your email for the link from our SGA Advisor.
LUCAS: It’s time to show your school pride! Spirit week is next week, the 17th to the 21st. This year’s themes are, Superhero Monday , Twin Tuesday, Cartoon character Wednesday, International Thursday, and Red Out on Friday!
TRUNK: If you show your spirit during 5th or 6th lunch at an SGA table, you can earn points for your grade and lead your class to victory!
LUCAS: The Diego Rivera Traveling Exhibit is coming to a Blair near you! Celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month, the media center will be displaying a Teacher’s Discovery Traveling Exhibit featuring the spectacular murals of Diego Rivera, considered a national treasure of Mexico. Featuring the beautiful “Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park,” the exhibit celebrates art, Spanish language, Mexican culture and history. It also boasts a scene from a mural painted in the University at Chapingo in Mexico in 1926 as well as a wonderful selection called The Flower Vendor. Staff can enjoy these reproductions from October 10th through the 14th by making reservations. Students are welcome to check it out during lunch or after school.
