KENIA: Hello Blazers! Today is Wednesday, May 10th, 2017. Only three days left until prom, so pick up your tickets now!
SODA: We’ve got a glamorous show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge

SODA: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is Soda.
KENIA: And I’m Kenia. In the news, former Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama has been sentenced to two years in Jail for “blaspheming” the Quran. “Ahok” was a christian in Indonesia a majority Muslim yet secular nation. The sentencing has been criticized by protesters from within the country as well as numerous international human rights organizations including human right’s watch and amnesty international.
SODA: The weather today will be warm with a high of 71 and a low of 50 with no chance of precipitation throughout the day.
SODA: There will be the World History, Statistics and Comparative Government AP tests tomorrow. Make sure to study, drink plenty of water and get a good night’s sleep in preparation for those exams.
KENIA: Get hyped for After Prom! After Prom will be Sunday May 14 from midnight until 4:00 am. The event is open to all juniors and seniors. Bring a student ID and arrive before 1:30 am to be admitted. There will be food, fun, casino games, laser tag, and tons of awesome prizes.
SODA: The Boys JV Basketball team will be holding tryouts for their annual summer league. Tryout dates are May 15th through 17th at 5 pm in the Gymnasium. This tryout is for current 8th and 9th graders.  Please see Coach Charles in the P.E. office with questions.
KENIA: Looking for a great spring gift or a mother’s day present?  Go to Blair’s annual spring plant sale today. It will take place during both lunches and after school in the greenhouse. There will be veggies, herbs, flowers, and beautiful mixed pots at the best prices in town. The ceramics class will also be selling custom-made wall-hanger planters. See Ms. Levien with any questions.
SODA: Interested in politics? Wanna hear more about the importance of gender equality in our government? Go hear Councilmember Nancy Floreen speak today during 5th lunch in room 164 and during 6th lunch in room 157! Head on out to celebrate the importance of equal representation in government.
KENIA: The STEM Academy has a new partnership with the FDA and can now offer 15 internships this summer from June 26th-June 30th.  If you are interested please see Mr. Haigh in Room 342 before the May 19th deadline to apply.  
SODA: Hello Blazers, it’s that time again! Apply for SGA! Anyone except our graduating seniors may apply. Pick up a form outside of Room 161. Deadline for applications are Friday, May 12th! You may turn in applications during your lunch period. Apply today!
