TRUNK: Welcome to Infoflow! My name is Trunk.
IYANU: And I’m Iyanu. Today’s weather will be rainy with a high of 60 and a low of 48.
TRUNK: In the news, Holger Krag, the head of the European Space Agency’s Space Debris Office, has said that thousands of pieces of loose debris must be removed from our orbit. According to Krag, Satellites regularly have to be moved to dodge particles moving at speeds of hundreds of miles per hour. The ESA estimates that there are over 5,000 pieces of debris larger than one meter and over 750,000 objects larger than one cm in orbit around the earth right now.
IYANU: The KID Museum Apprenticeship Program is currently recruiting students for the fall session. Apprentice applicants should possess a love of learning and a desire to engage with the public. Students can earn Student Service Learning hours and gain eligibility for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The deadline for applications is August 1st. TRUNK: Go make signs for the upcoming Climate March in room 331 during both lunches tomorrow. March on over to learn about and help prepare for the event.
IYANU: The Spring Capstone Showcase is taking place this Thursday, April 27th during 5th and 6th period in the Media Center. Head on out to see the awesome projects your peers have completed for their various academies.
TRUNK: Auditions for Playset Theatre’s Cinderella in the Park will be held during 9th period and after school today and tomorrow in Room 2. Sign up in the drama hallway or use the online form.
IYANU: The Bob Long Journalism Award, created in honor of former News 4 director and Blair student, is open to all Montgomery Blair seniors. Create a short video individually or with a partner to be considered for the award. Visit the BNC website for details. Submissions are due by May 5th.
TRUNK: Get hyped for After Prom! After Prom will be Sunday May 14 from midnight until 4:00 am. The event is open to all juniors and seniors. Bring a picture ID and arrive before 1:30 am to be admitted. There will be food, fun, casino games, laser tag, and tons of awesome prizes.

IYANU: Mental Health Awareness week pertains to all Blair students, and is an important opportunity to learn more about Mental Health issues at our school.
