KENIA: We’ve got an a-okay show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

KENIA: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Kenia.
SEBASTIEN: And I’m Sebastien. Today’s weather will be partly cloudy with a high of 42 and a low of 23.
KENIA: In the news, Apple launched a new color for the iPhone 7. Sure, there’s still no headphone jack. Sure, the device sometimes freezes mid call. Sure, it costs between $600 and $900. But at least now you can get it in red!
SEBASTIEN: It’s the time of the year again for the Blood Drive. If you want to donate, sign ups will be open until Friday on Blair Boulevard. You must be 16 and older to donate. Sign up to help out with this important cause.
KENIA: What do you think about money in politics? Learn about the Montgomery County Public Election Finance Law from Montgomery County Council Member George Leventhal, who will be speaking at Young Democrats club after school today from 3:30 to 4:30 in room 164. There will be snacks.
SEBASTIEN: Go to Mama Lucia’s in downtown Silver Spring tomorrow from 4:00-10:00pm to support the Junior Class Fundraiser. Whether you dine in or carry out, 20% of the proceeds will be going towards the junior class.
KENIA: Our school’s robotics team, the Blair Robot Project, is attending its second competition of the season at South River High School in Edgewater this weekend. Head on our to support the Blair robotics team.
SEBASTIEN: The HOOPS basketball tournament is tomorrow after school at 3 o’clock. There will be a demonstration outside by a police canine team and the MCPS motorcycle officers, along with an opportunity to check out fire and rescue equipment. Indoor basketball games start at 4:00 accompanied by music from a 93.9 WKYS DJ. Pizza and Chick-fil-A will be available for purchase.
KENIA: Head on out to this month’s Blair Congress meeting in the media center from 3:00 – 4:00 today after school. Food will be provided. The meeting will be centered around current events and there will be an open mic discussion.

Good Morning Blazers

We are excited to remind everyone about the big HOOPS basketball tournament tomorrow!

Tomorrow after school at 3:00 there will be demonstrations by Montgomery County Police and Fire/Rescue occurring in front of the stadium. Inside, starting at 4:00, we will have 5 on 5 basketball games, music will be provided by 93.9 during the tournament.

The concession stand will be open, we will be selling pizza, chick-fil-a, popcorn, and drinks.

Thanks for supporting our students and community, we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
