TRUNK: Hey there, Blazers. Today is Tuesday, February 21st, 2017.
CARLOS: We’ve got a spectacular show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

CARLOS: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Carlos.
TRUNK: And I’m Trunk. The weather for today will be partly cloudy with a high of 52 and a low of 42.
CARLOS: Today in black history, in 1917, jazz singer Thelonious Monk was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Monk was a pianist and composer with a unique improvisational style that revolutionized jazz music and influences numerous artists to this day.
TRUNK: Young Democrats is holding an open discussion on healthcare, the Affordable Care Act, and the new implications of Trump’s proposed changes. It will be held tomorrow, February 22nd, from 3:30-4:30 in room 164. This discussion is open to everyone from all backgrounds and beliefs! There will be experts on these topics coming in to speak, so come prepared with questions in mind and be ready to discuss the issues at hand. Food and drinks will be provided!
CARLOS: Kemp Mill Elementary is looking for students to volunteer as tutors and assist with math, reading, and writing during their homework club. Two SSL hours will be provided each week as the program will run from 4-6pm. See Mrs. Hiscock in room 130 to express your interest and sign up!
TRUNK: Come to room 164 on Tuesdays at 3:30-4:30 for the MBHS Young Republicans‘ Club. We’re looking to have open conversations about conservative ideology and current events. Whether you’re a conservative looking for a place to talk or a liberal looking to ask questions, we welcome you to come and discuss with us. Meetings are every Tuesday after 9th period in room 164
CARLOS: Hey Freshmen! Are you interested in helping your class raise money? Is there something around school you want to see change? Or do you just have some great ideas and want to share them? Come to Freshman Class Council in the Media Center conference room today to share your ideas.
TRUNK: And now we go to a special piece about the recent Women’s March in Washington, D.C.
