TRUNK: We’ve got a stupendous show for you today, but first, please stand for the pledge.

TRUNK: Welcome back to Infoflow! I’m Trunk.
JESSICA: And I’m Jessica. The weather for today will be mostly cloudy with a high of 42 and a low of 28.
TRUNK: In the news, after 7 years, a lost indian space probe was found by earth’s interplanetary radar. India’s Chandrayaan-1 Lunar Orbiter was finally spotted after its time studying the moon from October 2008 to August 2009. Researchers used a 230-foot antenna at NASA’s Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex in California to beam microwaves toward the moon, studied the radar signals that bounced back to Earth, and eventually discovered Chandrayaan-1 way off course.
JESSICA: Are you interested in running for President or Vice President of your class? If so, go to the SGA office, room 161, and pick up an application! Applications are due Wednesday, March 15.
TRUNK: Math Honors Society will be hosting a Pie Eating Contest tomorrow, Pi Day, March 14. The Pie Eating Contest will take place during both lunches in the courtyard. The cost of entering into the contest is $3. If you are interested and would like to reserve a spot in the competition, please email mbhs.mhs@gmail.com with your name, student ID, and lunch period.
JESSICA: There will be a climbing club interest meeting this Thursday, March 16th in room 315 after 9th period. No experience is necessary, just come if you think you’d be interested in forming a new club and learning how to rock climb.
TRUNK: Do you want a free SAT, ACT, or AP review book? Do you have old books that you want to donate? Go to Blair Boulevard during both lunches any day this week, March 13th through 17th, to donate and swap review books. You can get the first book for free. After the first book, you get 1 book for every book you donate. Remember, this review book swap will take place during both lunches all week. If you have any questions, email the National Honor Society at mbhsnationalhonorsociety@gmail.com.
JESSICA: It’s the time of the year again for the Blood Drive. If you want to donate, sign ups are today, March 13th, through March 24th on Blair Boulevard. You must be 16 years of age or older to donate. Sign up to give blood today!
TRUNK: Blazers, interested in STEM related programs? The KID Museum Apprenticeship Program is currently recruiting students for both the summer and fall sessions. The program is modeled on successful mentor and explainer interactions in world-renowned science centers across the country. Apprentices will work directly with the lead artists and makers as well as the museum’s creative director and program managers to help deliver successful programming. Students can earn Student Service Learning hours and be eligible for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The deadline for applications is April 14 for the summer session and August 1 for the fall session. Full details can found by visiting the link down below. www.kid-museum.org/apprentice.
JESSICA: International Night 2017 will be taking place on March 22nd in the SAC from 7pm-9pm. Make sure you head out and celebrate the diversity of Blair! There will be food, so don’t miss out.
